Cationic PAM - Polyacrylamide (12 million molecular weight)

Product Introduction:

This product is a white small granule or powder formed by copolymerization of cationic monomers (DM, DMC, CPF, DMDAAC, DMAEMA, etc.) and acrylamide, followed by granulation, drying, and crushing. Cationic polyacrylamide (CPAM) is a linear high-molecular compound that possesses various active groups, allowing it to form hydrogen bonds and affinity with many substances. It is mainly used for flocculation of colloids with negative charges and has functions such as turbidity removal, decolorization, adsorption, and bonding. It is suitable for high-concentration wastewater treatment in industries such as dyeing, papermaking, food processing, construction, metallurgy, ore dressing, coal powder, oil fields, aquaculture processing, and fermentation. It is particularly effective for dewatering of urban sewage, municipal sludge, paper mill sludge, and other industrial sludge.

Sludge dewatering:

The appropriate type of this product can be selected based on the characteristics of the sludge. It can effectively perform gravity sludge dewatering before entering the pressure filtration stage. During dewatering, it forms large flocs that do not adhere to the filter cloth, ensuring minimal dispersion during pressure filtration. It requires a small dosage, exhibits high dewatering efficiency, and results in low moisture content in the sludge cake.

Wastewater and organic waste treatment:

This product exhibits cationic properties in acidic or alkaline media, making it highly effective in flocculating and precipitating suspended particles in wastewater with negatively charged particles. It is effective for treating wastewater from alcohol factories, breweries, monosodium glutamate factories, sugar factories, meat processing plants, beverage factories, textile dyeing and printing plants, and other industries. The use of cationic polyacrylamide is several times or tens of times more effective compared to anionic polyacrylamide, non-ionic polyacrylamide, or inorganic salts because these types of wastewater generally carry negative charges.

Coagulant for water treatment in water treatment plants:

This product has the advantages of low dosage, excellent effectiveness, and low cost. It performs even better when used in combination with inorganic coagulants.

Oilfield chemicals:

Used as clay stabilizers, thickening agents for acidizing in oilfields, etc.

Papermaking additives:

Can be used as a dry strength agent, retention aid, and filter aid in papermaking, greatly improving the paper quality, cost savings, and increasing the production capacity of paper mills. It can directly form electrostatic bridges with inorganic salt ions, fibers, and other organic polymers to enhance the physical strength of the paper, reduce fiber or filler loss, accelerate drainage, and provide enhanced retention and filtration. It can also be used in whitewater treatment and exhibits significant flocculation effects during deinking processes.

Additionally, this product is also an efficient dispersant.

Packaging, storage, and precautions:

It is packaged in 25 kg lined plastic woven bags or paper-plastic composite bags, or as per customer requirements. During storage and transportation, it should be protected from heat and moisture, and packaging should be safeguarded from damage. The dry powder product may absorb moisture and agglomerate when exposed for an extended period. The stacking height should not exceed 20 layers. The effective storage period is 2 years.
