Emulsion Breaker

Product Introduction:

Emulsion breaker is a cationic polymer that effectively reduces the interfacial tension of oil-in-water (W/O) or water-in-oil (O/W) emulsions. It disrupts the stability of colloidal particles in wastewater by reducing their repulsive and attractive forces, leading to coagulation and further separation of oil and harmful impurities through chemical bridging. The product is mainly used in oilfield water treatment systems and petrochemical water treatment systems.

Product Features:

1. Good water solubility, completely dissolves within three minutes.

2. Optimizes water treatment while reducing the residence time of water in treatment equipment, preventing the carryover of solid particles to the next step.

3. Ability to demulsify oil exceeds 80%, and it also has some effect on removing dissolved petroleum substances.

4. Requires small dosage (usually 50-400 ppm), significantly reducing the issues of wastewater treatment, disposal, and associated costs.

5. Compatible with various chemicals, and its effectiveness is not affected within a pH range of 5-10.
