2. Product Uses:

- Used in cosmetics as an emulsifier, moisturizer, humectant, and shampoo ingredient.

- Addition of triethanolamine to liquid detergents improves the removal of oily dirt, especially non-polar sebum, and enhances cleaning performance by increasing alkalinity. It also exhibits excellent compatibility.

- Used as a curing agent in epoxy resins.

- Used as a complexing agent for aluminum ions in solutions.

- Used in cement clinker.

- Used as a stationary phase in gas chromatography.

- Used as a solvent and humectant in the textile industry.

- Used as an industrial gas purification agent.

Toxicity: Among amines, triethanolamine has the lowest oral toxicity. The oral LD50 in rats is >9,000 ml/kg.
