1. Product Introduction: Lithium cobaltate, with the chemical formula LiCoO2, is an inorganic compound commonly used as a positive electrode material in lithium-ion batteries. It is typically synthesized using a liquid-phase method, where lithium salt and cobalt salt are dissolved in a solvent such as polyvinyl alcohol (PVA) or polyethylene glycol (PEG). The mixed solution is then heated and concentrated to form a gel, which is subsequently thermally decomposed. The resulting gel is then calcined at high temperatures, followed by grinding and sieving to obtain lithium cobaltate powder.
