Hydrochloric Acid

Hydrochloric Acid:

1. Product Introduction: Hydrochloric acid, also known as muriatic acid, is the aqueous solution of hydrogen chloride (HCl). It is a monoprotic inorganic strong acid and has widespread industrial applications. Hydrochloric acid is a colorless, transparent liquid with a strong, pungent odor and high corrosiveness. Concentrated hydrochloric acid (typically around 37% mass fraction) is highly volatile, and when the container is opened, hydrogen chloride gas evaporates, combining with water vapor in the air to form small droplets of hydrochloric acid, resulting in the appearance of acid fumes above the bottle. Hydrochloric acid is the main component of gastric acid and plays a role in food digestion and microbial defense.
